da betsul: ESPN pundit Steve Nicol has claimed that Eden Hazard will not benefit from having Romelu Lukaku in the team at Chelsea.
da mrbet: The Everton forward has been widely tipped to return to Stamford Bridge after failing to sign a new contract at Goodison Park.
Lukaku first signed for the West London outfit in 2011 from Anderlecht, but a lack of first-team football resulted in him eventually leaving in 2014 to join Everton.
Since then, the Belgian has become a top striker in the Premier League, and he ended last season with a 25-goal haul.
Lukaku’s stoke has certainly risen over the years, but it is believed that the Toffees value him at a staggering figure.
Last month, a report in The Telegraph claimed that Everton will listen to offers of around £100m for the striker.
Nicol, though, believes that the 24-year-old is not worth a huge fee, and is concerned that the forward will struggle to link up with Eden Hazard.
The ex-Liverpool player told ESPN:
“I don’t see how this guy is going to be so good with his back to goal, 25 yards out, trying to play little one-twos with Hazard. We saw how great a connection Costa and Hazard had, I don’t see that with Lukaku. Listen, if they’re asking for a lot of money and Chelsea pay it, I’m not sure he lives up to the billing.”
